The St. Al’s inaugural annual fundraiser dubbed “A NIGHT OF HOPE” was very colorful and quite a success. This event saw different people from all walks of life converge with the sole purpose of supporting St. Al’s school in its mission of educating Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC) as well as youths affected by HIV/AIDS from Kibera slum. The dignitaries present who graced the occasion included Hon. Ken Okoth (MP for Kibra), Hon. Joash Olum (MP for Langata) and Hon. Beatrice Alachi (Nominated Senator) among other invited guests. The CLC-K president (Dan Odhiambo) and his able council were fully in attendance. The representation from CLC members was quite remarkable especially from older CLCers. Kitale and Kisii areas were also very well represented. Kudos to that.
Among the entertainment groups were Kayamba Fiesta and Funtelema Band that kept the audience entertained with their lovely music. Thank you all for your continued support. As you all know, St. Al’s school is our major mission and therefore let us all join hands and offer our support. All this we do for the Greater Glory of God.
